Ethio-Djibouti Railway

Operated by the Ethio-Djibouti Railway Share Company, this 756 km standard-gauge, fully electrified line opened for passenger service in 2018, connecting Addis Ababa's Lebu station to Djibouti via Adama, Mieso and Dire Dawa. Overnight trains run every second day with economy and business seating, comfortable couches, hard and soft sleeper berths, toilets, hand-wash facilities and an on-board restaurant across its 11 operational stations.
