✨ Wetland Sanctuary & White-eared Kob Migration
Gambella National Park is a vast and ecologically rich wetland wilderness in western Ethiopia. It is widely recognized as one of the most important conservation areas in the country, famously hosting the second-largest annual antelope migration in Africa—the spectacular movement of the white-eared kob. The park’s landscape is defined by extensive marshes, savanna plains, and meandering river systems (such as the Baro and Akobo rivers), which provide a critical habitat for a massive variety of wildlife, including Nile lechwe, shoebills, and diverse aquatic species.
